What to Put on a Monthly Rate Sheet: A Checklist for Hotels

Published Oct 18, 2026

Guests who want a month or more ask the same questions again and again. A one-page rate sheet answers them before they ask, and means fewer back-and-forth emails for your front desk.

The price

  • Monthly rate for each room type.
  • Which taxes are added, shown on their own line.
  • Deposit amount and when it is returned.
  • How and when the guest pays.

What is included

  • Wi-Fi, parking, utilities, linens and towels.
  • Housekeeping: how often, and whether the guest can skip it.
  • Kitchen items in the room, and laundry on site.

The terms

  • Minimum stay.
  • Pet rules and fees.
  • How a guest extends, and how much notice you need.
  • What happens if the guest leaves early.

Keep it short

One page is enough. Use plain words and the same numbers you will put in the confirmation email. If a price changes, update the sheet with a date, so the guest can see which version is current.

What next

If your hotel takes stays of 30 nights or more, you can ask to be listed on Monthly-Hotels.com through the hotel contact form. A clear rate sheet makes your page easy to confirm.
